Created with Master Bladesmith Bob Kramer, the KRAMER by ZWILLING EUROLINE Stainless Steel Damascus Collection features stainless steel blades made to his exacting standards, maximizing curves, balance and utility. Bob's design has an extremely wide blade to maximize knuckle clearance for larger hands and for cutting through large produce and piles of food. Chopped food can easily be transported with this impressive, broad blade. The knives are hand-finished with a traditional 3-step process by skilled Japanese artisans. Combined with the SG2 micro-carbide powder steel, the ice-hardened CRYODUR blades deliver scalpel-like sharpness, stay sharper longer and can withstand more sharpening over their lifespan. The SG2 super steel core is protected by an exceptionally beautiful 100-layer Chevron Damascus pattern, which is complimented by a stunning black linen Micarta handle and signature Bob Kramer mosaic pin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every kitchen needs a small utility knife that is just the go-to knife for any basic cutting task. They are large enough to use on most fruit, vegetable or meats and small enough to have a quick easy clean up and be ready for the next task or quickly tucked back away. This is a perfect choice for that handy knife because of the excellent quality, extreme sharpness and durability and just sheer comfort of using it. Bob Kramer designed every aspect of it to be comfortable in the hand and consistently razor sharp due to its SG2 steel core. The 100 layer damascus pattern makes it look spectacular while getting the job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Utility & A Prep Knife For Me! A stainless steel Damascus knife features a blade to perfection and hardness, combine with SG2 (MC63) micro-carbide powder steel. Bob Kramer's design has an extremely wide blade to maximize knuckle clearance for larger hands and for cutting through from small to large produce. This 5" Utility knife, is my kind of prep knife, it is a comfortable size from small task. It's perfect either from peeling, cutting, dicing, slicing, mincing and chopping. This Kramer utility knife blades deliver scalpel-like sharpness, stay sharper longer and can withstand more sharpening over their lifespan and is protected by an exceptionally beautiful 101-layer Chevron Damascus pattern. This utility knife is versatile for daily task, it's something I will be looking forward.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great prep knife This is the knife i was looking for. Its between my paring knife and my chefs knife. I love Kramer knives and this one is no exception. The wide handle is very comfortable to hold. I love the Kramer logo mosaic in the handle. The blade is Damascus layered into a beautiful chevron design. The core steel is very sharp and the high carbon content keeps it sharp for a long time and is very easy to maintain at its optimal sharpness.

He designed it to be comfortable for any size hand and to be used for long periods of time without getting tired. The blade is so beautiful with the dark damascus design and incredibly sharp. If you prefer a smaller knife, this could be your go-to for most fruits, veggies, meats and cheeses. Not only is it super sharp, but it holds it edge really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great utility knife This is the ultimate Utility blade. This blade is skinny and not as long as the slicer, perfect for smaller slices of meat, fish, produce, and veggies. With the Kramer Damascus Utility knife, you get an optimal blade that has 100 layers of SG2 steel that slices anything like butter. The beautiful design of the Chevron pattern and Micarta handle makes this a statement piece for any chef.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great knife While I have been quite pleased with my other knives; WÜSTHOF, Sabatier, Gerber, etc. I find this to be most pleasing. Everything I was looking for. Although the balance is a bit blade heavy, I quickly got used to it and find the feel quite pleasing. The ability to take and keep an edge is great. Quickly became my "go to" knife. And, the appearance of the Damascus steel is outstanding.

This little beast of a knife gets the job done, the non-serrated edge (common to utility knives) is what drew me to it; great for smaller projects, and can still slice through a tomato with ease, without squashing it.

Not only is it super sharp, but it is also durable. The whole design is beautiful- the handle is comfortable and the blade has a 101 layer Damascus design.
