Let's go back even further to the past, to our location in Solingen, the famous "city of blades." Solingen's name and status as the hub of German cutlery are no coincidence. The first blacksmiths settled here as early as the 16th century. Rich ore deposits, access to wood and water, and the proximity to Cologne created ideal conditions for a flourishing location for the art of cutlery and the development of a genuine "city of blades."
