La Cocotte
14 cm round Cast iron Cocotte graphite-grey
The round, graphite grey cocotte from STAUB is made out of cast iron and has a black matt enamel coating on the inside. Both materials make the pot suitable for cooking and braising food slowly, as both cast iron and enamel redistribute heat evenly and slowly. Both materials also enhance the natural flavour of food and make sure delicious flavour is achieved. The enamel is furthermore resilient, easy to clean and continuous to improve the more it is used. For that reason, these dishes are even passed down to the next generation in France, the homeland of the cocotte. The casserole dish from the La Cocotte series is 14 cm in diameter and is equipped with a tightly closing lid. This cocotte is approx. 12 cm high with the lid and can hold up to 0.8 litres. It can be used on any type of cooker, including an induction hob, and can also be put in the oven. Thanks to its aesthetic design and graphite grey colour, the cocotte matches well with all kitchen furnishings.
