ZWILLING ENFINIGY and ZWILLING XTEND Warranty
ZWILLING grants buyers, as first-end purchasers, a manufacturer's warranty for the ZWILLING ENFINIGY and XTEND series, in accordance with the following conditions:
2 years on all ENFINIGY and XTEND series products.
The XTEND rechargeable battery (item 1029289): A warranty period of 1 year from the date of purchase of the device or battery applies to rechargeable batteries included in the scope of delivery or supplied separately.
This limitation of the warranty period is due to typical wear and tear and the limited service life of rechargeable batteries. Within this period, ZWILLING guarantees that the rechargeable battery is free from material and manufacturing defects that significantly impair its functionality.
Excluded from the guarantee are, in particular, damage caused by improper use, improper storage or improper use, natural loss of capacity as a result of normal use, damage caused by external influences (e.g. dropping, moisture, overheating). Claims arising from the statutory warranty are not restricted by this warranty.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. The warranty is valid in the UK, whereby the product has been purchased from a dealer and has not been renewed or extended by the provision of a warranty service.
A prerequisite for warranty services is that the warranty claim is asserted within one month of the occurrence of a material and/or manufacturing defect at ZWILLING by presentation of the original purchase receipt.
In addition to the purchase date, the original purchase receipt must also show the purchase price and the seller. For warranty processing, ZWILLING recommends registering the purchased product on the website zwilling-activate.com/electrics. The aforementioned website allows you to, among other things, upload your original proof of purchase, as well as take advantage of an attractive additional offer available to registered customers.
If a proven material and/or manufacturing defect occurs within the warranty period, ZWILLING will decide, after prior inspection, whether the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge. ZWILLING reserves the right to supply an identical or similar replacement. The warranty does not cover parts of the device that incur wear when used as intended or damage resulting from improper use or improper handling.
Furthermore, the warranty does not apply in the event of a lack of care and/or maintenance, improper opening by persons not authorised by ZWILLING, use of spare parts other than original spare parts, damage caused by external sources, such as fire, water, etc., or from commercial use. If the service life is only slightly impaired, there is also no warranty claim.
If the prerequisites for a warranty claim are not met, you can request at the service centre whether a repair can be carried out subject to a charge. In the event of a warranty claim or if you have any questions about servicing or repairs, please contact a ZWILLING authorised service centre or a ZWILLING shop.
