Environmentally Responsible Disposal of Electrical Appliances and Batteries
Together for the Environment, Health & Future
Today’s everyday helpers contain valuable raw materials—but they can also release harmful substances if disposed of improperly. That’s why it’s so important to keep old devices and batteries out of household waste. Instead, they must be collected separately and professionally recycled.
By making a conscious choice to dispose of them properly, you’re not only complying with the law—you’re also protecting the environment, reducing health risks, and helping valuable materials return to the production cycle. Together, we contribute to resource conservation and a sustainable future.
Disposal of Electrical Devices
Dispose of Old Devices the Right Way
Electronic waste doesn’t belong in household trash. Instead, it must be collected separately. You can return your used devices to recycling centers, municipal collection points, retailers—or simply drop them off at your nearest ZWILLING Shop.
Look for the symbol of a crossed-out trash bin. It indicates the product may not be disposed of with household waste.

Every battery counts! Proper disposal is the only way to enable safe and effective recycling. This helps recover valuable materials and greatly reduces environmental impact.
