Hinoki is a type of cypress wood found only in Japan. It is very light, especially resilient and thus unusually durable. It is also highly water-resistant and can therefore be easily cleaned. Hinoki, which translates roughly to ‘fire wood’, stands out thanks to another benefit – its natural antibacterial properties.

The board is equipped with a drainage channel on the one side to collect any fluids. You can use this large cutting board from MIYABI to enjoy optimal knife performance and prolong the life of the delicate blade at the same time.
