This Dutch Oven made of cast iron follows the tradition of the northern Italian “paiolo di ghisa”, where hearty stews, spicy meat dishes and full-bodied vegetables are prepared in cast-iron cookware. Cast iron has very special material properties that give your food a particularly intense roasted aroma when cooking.
This traditional material is ideally complemented by modern innovation: The drop structure on the inside of the lid distributes the liquid evenly over the ingredients, making the food particularly tender and delicious. The Dutch Oven can be used on all types of stoves, including induction cookers.
In addition, it is dishwasher-safe and suitable for ovens up to 240°c. The high-quality enamel coating also ensures that the induction Dutch Oven is very durable and scratch-resistant. The Dutch Oven was designed in Milan by the design team Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez. It impresses with its attractive design, the intense red colour and the matt gold knob with BALLARINI logo.
