These ZWILLING “Sorrento” double-walled cappuccino glasses are wonderful examples of this: they are surprisingly light and captivate users with their attractive yet timeless shape. The minimalist design by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez blends seamlessly with all styles of tableware – whether traditional or modern.
The raw material used is borosilicate glass – a heat-resistant glass, which is insensitive to sudden changes in temperature. The double-walled design of the glasses also ensures excellent insulation to ensure that cold drinks – or desserts, crèmes or parfaits – stay cold for longer, and warm drinks stay warm for longer. Pleasing side-effect: the outside surface does not become hot – meaning that there is no risk of burning the fingers.
