HOW TO USE

Soak the hands in lukewarm water with a lotion or mild soap for several minutes. When dried the nails are ready for a manicure. Trim the nails to the correct length and shape. Remove cuticle if necessary. During trimming, the nail and cuticle scissors should be held at a slight angle, so that the lower blade that is cutting from underneath the nail is visible. That way the scissors are easy to handle and deliver a clean cut. This applies for both right- and left-handed scissors. After use clean the scissors with a dry cloth.

TOOL CARE

Do not cut any other material with nail scissors, protect them from dampness and clean them after use. With a drop of oil every now and again, the scissors will work reliably for many years to come. (A tip: use hand lotion after the manicure treatment. Many cosmetic lotions contain aggressive substances that may react with metal and stain the surface!)
