Pro knives are my absolute favorite and this small scale knife block set is perfect for small spaces. The block has an angled edge to accommodate the innovative curved bolster on the Pro Series knives. The bolster is curved to provide a comfortable pinch grip for your thumb and forefinger. In this block you will get three of the most used knife profiles and a sharp pair of shears. There are even two additional spots to add to your collection. Forged from a proprietary blend of steel these knives will resist corrosion and chipping all while retaining an incredible razor sharp edge. Once you feel how perfectly weighted these are in your hand you will never want to use another knife.

Compact, Tidy and User Friendly
Three excellent knives. 8 -inch Chef's - for almost all your cooking needs. A serrated utility - for baguettes and sandwiches, tomatoes and peaches. And a paring - for peeling and garnishes. Excellent Pro line quality. Angled bolster for comfortable control, high quality steel that will hold an edge a long time, and last a lifetime. Recommend hand washing if you want them to last a long time; but dishwasher safe for convenience.
Wish the block had a couple more slots for room to grow, but then it would take up more room.

Essentially Compact Set!
This 5pc. studio Pro block set is excellent essential and compact, comfortable knives and durable. These knives are primary essentials for a cook from cutting small fruits to vegetables and to a larger food, meat to cut.
Block set is slim and doesn't take big space on the counter top, modern and compact block set for a small kitchen. Perfect for idea to someone who's looking for the most versatile knives that is not overwhelming.
A great gift for a college students and young chef exploring cooking on their own. This set includes a 6" Chef, 5" serrated utility knife and 4" paring knife and shear for cutting herbs and tools to remove unwanted meat skins like chicken skins. A smaller, yet very complete block set for a studio apartment or smaller kitchen, a starter set for a new couple or for someone who is downsizing. Has everything you need - A 6" Chef, a serrated utility and a paring knife! These tend to be the most used knives and cover so much ground in kitchen tasks. Ice-hardened so you know they will be sharp, stay sharp and are durable. They are also rust and chip free. Comes with a set of shears for those herbs, too! Compact, yet oh-so functional!

The Pro line is the workhorse of the kitchen and is up to any task. I love this line and use it everyday in preparing every meal or prepping fruits and nuts for desserts. The studio set is a great gift for those leaving the nest for the first time, or for anyone that is just starting their collection of knvies. The curved bolster is a lifesaver when preparing large meals, as it supports the pinch grip which is easier on your wrist. I can't recommend this line enough!

Small Kitchen? Limited counter space? Don't need a lot of cutlery but want the good stuff?
This set is perfect for many reasons. Premium high carbon stainless steel cutlery, designed to last a lifetime, easy to add on pieces at a time to your collection, and for starters, the 3 most often selected blade profile. The Block top is angles to seat the curved bolster knives perfectly, no rocking and no exposed blade edge.

Great Set for Mom
The perfect set for my mom! She prefers a 6" chef knife over an 8. She also didn't feel like she needed or wanted a bunch of extra knives so the chef, serrated utility and parer are the perfect combination.
It's very comfortable and has a great weight and balance. Very sharp and holds its edge really well.
She loves the knives as well as the compact block.

Get the job done
Got these as a gift and was pleasantly surprised. Sharp knifes and get the job done. Was thrilled when it came with a pamphlet that said it I registered they would send me a free knife as a gift. Registered but never got the item. Sent an email to customer service and Enrique advised I have to write a review first. Funny it didn’t say that but ok.

Will this block accommodate the 8" Pro chefs knife and 8" Pro bread knife?
No, this block is designed to accommodate the 6" chef's knife and smaller paring and utility knives that come with the set.

The description is vague. The included knives are not listed anywhere and the wording states "Holm oak" but the pictures show black handles.
The knives included in this set are the Zwilling Pro style with the black ABS handles, not the Pro Holm Oak knives with wood handles.
