Description

When it comes to cast iron cookware, two essential items are the foundation of a well-equipped kitchen: a cast iron frying pan or skillet and a Cocotte or Dutch oven. Between them, they cater to nearly all of your culinary needs. And with the new 2 piece stackable edition by STAUB, you can now keep them neatly piled when not in use, so they take up as little storage space as possible while still looking great.

This set of black cast iron products consists of a Cocotte, a frying pan and a lid, each with a diameter of 24cm. It comes with a set of rim protectors that are placed between the frying pan and the Cocotte for storage and must be removed before cooking. With their high-quality, enamelled material, they combine all the excellent cooking characteristics and durability of cast iron with the ease-of-use and beauty of enamelled cookware.

The cast iron frying pan is perfect for frying meat or fish, for example a salmon caprese, while the Cocotte can be used to cook pasta or a tomato soup for an Italian menu. Of course, the Cocotte can also go in the oven for classic braiser recipes.
