Description

The #5000 sharpening stone is a synthetic ceramic stone based on the Naniwa Chosera range, a range considered to be amongst the best in the world and used by a number of famous chefs. The sharpening stone is best used in combination with the MIYABI basic sharpening kit as the sharpening stone fits snugly inside the Hinoki wood base, sharpening your knife more smoothly and quickly. The #5000 sharpening stone measures 21 x 7 cm and is 2.5 cm thick. It removes material from the blade quickly, giving exceptional results and an extremely sharp edge. The stone is very slow to wear and so can be used for many years. Although particularly suitable for sharpening MIYABI knives, it can also be used to resharpen knives made from a variety of different steels.

  • Achieves optimum sharpness
