Available in 3 sizes, these stainless steel skillets are great for frying, searing, browning. They are well made, heat quickly, hold the heat and cook evenly. They can take high heat for searing, or hold low heat for delicate pan sauces. These pans are made of 3 layers of clad metal - a thick interior layer of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of 18/10 steel. Because they cook so evenly - no burn spots and clean-up is easy. Dishwasher safe, but if you can, hand wash. It will look like new for years and years and years to come.

I really love the handle on this fry pan, the long handle stays cool to touch and I love using it as a spoon rest for my spatulas and turners. I use the 10” fry pan a lot and love how I can take it from the stove top to the oven. It is really well made, it doesn't warp and really retains the heat well. This is a great stainless steel fry pan, I’m really impressed with the Spirit collection.

The aluminum core heats quickly and also distributes the heat evenly, which means no hot spots. It is beautiful; I am a sucker for a gorgeous pan with superior performance. The handle is stay cool handle due to the v where the handle meets the pan. The heat dissapates through the v leaving the handle cool to the touch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can't beat a great stainless steel fry pan. There's no coating so there's nothing to wear out. It's a 3 layer construction with an aluminum core that goes all the way to the edges so it heats evenly and can get extremely hot, perfect for searing and browning. The high sides make it perfect for those one-pot meals. The handles are attached in a V-shaped design that helps disperse the heat so they stay cool better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pan fir cooking chicken Great for cooking a family size dinner chicken breasts, already oiled and seasoned. On high heat for 3 minutes each side and then in oven at 400 for 6 minutes. Take out and back on the stove mid heat butter and lemon juice added. Add melted butter on the chicken and then plate. Wait for 5 minutes and serve. The pan handles the quantity well. Not too heavy and washes with great ease. Fantastic product.

Can a lid be purchased for this pan? 14” 18/10

What kind of coating has zwilling-spirit-stainless-3-ply-14-inch? Because it doesn't say what is it. On 12 inch spirit fry pan it says that it has ceramic coating. But on 14 inch doesn't say anywhere what coating it is. Please explain

It features a classic 18/10 stainless steel cooking surface, ideal for searing, browning, and deglazing. What is the inside, flat surface diameter of the 10" pan - not the diameter as measured on the rim on top?

The inside flat surface diameter of the ZWILLING Spirit 3-Ply 10-inch Frying Pan, measured at the cooking surface (not the top rim), is about 7.87 inches to approximately 8 inches.
