How long is the warranty and what does it cover? Ive read a couple reviews describing their block began splitting on top?

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, abuse, or misuse (not in compliance with use and care guidelines). Our warranty also does not cover wood products as we cannot control for potential defects in natural resources. Am I able to request the upright block, rather than this slanted one? Your website shows other knife sets with a more upright block, but both are "7pc sets". Is there a way to select this knife set but with the other block? We have limited space!

The Pro knives have an angled bolster and therefore we manufacture a unique block to accommodate the knife structure. Unfortunately, any other block that is not made for the Pro series will not provide the correct fit.
