Now available in limited quantities, this back-from-vault saucepan comes in two versatile sizes—perfect for both everyday use and special occasions.
Pamela says, “My very first piece of enameled cast iron was a Staub saucepan, given to me as a wedding gift 30 years ago. Over the years, it’s been my go-to for making oatmeal in the morning, reheating soups and sauces, cooking small batches of grains, and whipping up a hot chocolate.”
Compact yet powerful, this small-but-mighty saucepan is perfect for everyday kitchen tasks like simmering soups, cooking rice, reheating pasta sauces, poaching eggs, or making custards and puddings.
Enameled cast iron requires no seasoning and possesses exceptional heat-retaining qualities, so the pot heats evenly throughout. With a heavy weight, tight-fitting lid that retains moisture and tiny bumps on the lid interior that create a rain-forest effect evenly returning juices back onto food, you can expect moist, perfectly cooked food every time you use this saucepan.

Most used daily Staub panSo glad its back in production... had to find this Sauce Pan on the resale market a few years ago. The pan is a 1.25 quart pan... not 1.5 quarts. I use it almost everyday for steel cut oatmeal or can of soup. Perfect size. Cleans up easy... just soak with soapy water and wash. One of the most used Staub pans I use... this sauce pan and the tea kettle (the bomb). Solid construction (cast iron - enable coded), nice weight and will last forever.
I also have the 3 Quart one... but due to my use pattern... the 1.25 Quart gets more use.
