So versatile; i find so many uses.
I find so many uses for this size bowl that they are constantly being washed and put away, then used again. Great for starter portions of soup, I use mine mostly for prep when I am baking or making an ingredient intense recipe. It holds salts, sliced lemons, roasted nuts and a scoop (or two) of ice cream. Because it can take the heat, they have been used for baked dips and desserts when the occasion called for it. They are great on a buffet for condiments too. The bright finish of the ceramic makes them shine at the table.

Naturally beautiful!
One of my favorite Staub ceramic color. Perfect size for single serve ice cream, instantly a sprinkle bowl, perfect for cereal, great soup bowl and rice bowl. This is multi purpose bowl can be used in many ways, great for baking cakes and pies. sauces and cooking prep bowl. Perfect decorative holiday party bowl filled with treats, candies, chocolates, fruits and chocolate dipping bowl.

A great size for so many things - can keep condiments in them, veggies and leftovers, use as ice-cream bowls and much more! Fun to get more than one and in a few colors! The Staub matches many of the cocottes; great to have them both on a table for serving. Easy to clean and go from table to frig for next time.

I have these little bowls in every color and use them for everything. If i have a little bit of leftover anything I just throw the bowl in the freezer covered with a universal plastic lid. The bowls will go from freezer to oven up to 500F. They stack beautifully and are dishwasher safe.

Small But Powerful
This bowl is wonderful. It’s oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe—virtually indestructible. And I love the “just right” smaller size because it makes it easier for me to limit my morning cereal intake—it’s a real plus if you’re wanting to limit your calories. And I love the color—mine is what I call cobalt blue—it’s so attractive and cheerful. In fact, I love this bowl so much I’ll probably order another one!

Excellent quality
I love the weight and sturdiness of Staub bowls. I have multiples of all sizes made as they last forever. I use the bowls in the microwave, oven or chill them in frig before serving a tossed salad or fruit salad. They are totally dishwasher safe. I highly recommend Staub bowls or any product manufactured by this company as all are excellent quality,

What is bowl capacity in oz? Would these be good for French onion soup? Thank you.
This bowl is approximately 20 fluid ounces, so it may be a little large for French onion soup. It is, however, broiler safe (all of our ceramics are).
