Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Quality I chose Staub over some other brands because it was the highest quality, and by far the most beautiful. I prepared a Coq Au Vin for my first use and not only were our guest impressed with their meal, but all commented on the dutch oven. I can't wait to use it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size Dutch oven I was looking for an oval Dutch oven for some time, and wasn’t sure if this 5.75 qt Coq au Vin isn’t going to be too small for us . But when I saw it on sale I had to give it a try. The color is beautiful the black enamel is awesome, cleans very easily and the food comes out so delicious. The flavor is unmatched with any other pot I cooked with. I only used it in the oven, but I am sure it will work fine on the convection stove too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I love this cast iron pot. I used it to cook my chicken Chop Suey and chicken tinola. I love how it holds the heat during and after cooking. It keeps food warm for a long time after cooking. Sautéing in this pot gives food so much more flavor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Interior looks awful... I bought this about 3 weeks ago, have made beef stew once, followed included directions on cooking & cleaning and it look awful...I didn't expect it to look so bad after one use...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great addition to my kitchen I am a relatively new cook in my home and am just getting into braising, roasting, etc and have been using my Staub 4 qt. braiser. I love it. Its heaviness and quality make me feel good - like a real chef! I have not yet used my new 5.75-qt Coq au Vin Cocotte (I just received it yesterday) but know it will be just as great as my braiser.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed The first time I used the pot I was disappointed that my white pot , which i keep on top of my oven as decor, was discolored. The white is no longer white but has turned to a creamy color however the top is still pure white. It looks mismatched.

Is the white color a bright white or an off white? And does the white become discolored from the stove or oven heat?

Asked by: JanLovesToCook
Staub White on cast iron is brighter than off-white. It is slightly warmer and more muted than our ceramic white, which is a true, bright white. The enamel can become discolored if scorched or not cleaned/cared for properly. You can find Use & Care guidelines included with your purchase and/or on http://www.staubusa.com toward the bottom right hand side of the homepage.

Please advise exact dimensions—want to use in Breville SOA which can take up to 5.8qt Dutch oven, but as this is shaped in an oval, I’m afraid the width may not work? 9” x 13” is the size of the roasting pan that is one of its accessories.

Asked by: Tanzee10
The dimensions of this product are 14.8" long (with handles) X 12.2" wide X 8" tall.
