Amazing craftsmanship!I purchased the pumpkin and the tomato cast iron casseroles for my daughters as gifts. The price was spectacular and they were delivered in less than a week.
They are beautiful works of art and well made. I know my daughter will never expect this gift as prices elsewhere were out of reach. These are actually for next Christmas, I found your site by accident after being disappointed by another seller on a similar item.
I also realized that my children graced me with a set of knives from your company years ago.....I use them everyday, they are spectacular. As you can tell, we are a family that loves to cook.

Come On Fall!I have had the 3.5 qt orange version of this Staub piece for 10 plus years. I use it a lot during the holidays and it looks exactly the same, inside and out. It travels home to home carrying sweet potatoes, soup and bread. Cast iron holds it's temperature so well that dishes don't cool down. My family looks foward to seeing such a beautiful serving piece year after year. When at home, it stays on my stove or table, sometimes filled with candy.
Now the 5qt in burnt orange is here and I absolutely must have it. This size is more suitable for gumbo or chili or a large loaf of fresh bread.

In Need of Accurate Quality Control ChecksI ordered the White & Burnt Orange in 3.5 quarts as well as the Burnt Orange Pumpkin in 5 quarts at the beginning of July. i was so excited as I’m a huge Staub Fan! I was highly disappointed with the lack of enamel in two of the three pumpkins’ handles and that the cast iron seem to be showing through in the Burnt Orange Pumpkins (not enough enamel). Among other flaws. I have not used none of them as I brought them for fall gifts for my husband and aunt. The boxes are not in gift giving condition, which you can look past, but not the items. I wanted to exchange the 5 qt but they were out so I am holding on to it.
If someone from Zwilling can check the items and ship me the high quality I am used to, please contact me.

I just leave this out on my stove it is so gorgeous. So many uses for this and I do know some look at the shape and wonder what they can use it for. I make jams in mine because there is not residue left on the sides that can't be wiped of easily with just a soft spounge. If you make jam, you know that is a huge plus! I also use it for soup, bread pudding, rice, side-dishes are perfect in this and can go from oven to table for a beautiful presentation.

Seems to be “second” quality with pocked interiorBeautifully designed piece but this is not “first” quality. There is a noticeable pock mark on the interior surface where the black matte enamel had a bubble. None of my other Staub cocottes have pocks or bubbles like this. They are smooth. I contacted Zwilling a week ago but haven’t heard back yet. I will update my review once this is resolved.

Work of ArtI have admired this cocotte for a long time, and was so happy to finally get one. The fall is my favorite season, and I love bringing this out as soon as the leaves start falling off the trees.
It's a great size for storing Halloween candy as well as serving up some pumpkin bisque, my family's favorite.
I get so many compliments on it, and I am impressed with how well made it is. Doesn't hurt that it is actually made in France.

I absolutely love these pumpkins. they work great in the oven but I prefer to use them as serving pieces. Always brings out the Ooohs and Ahhhs at the table. Obviously they are perfect for Thanksgiving but they work well for any and all other meals too. THe make a beautiful soup tureen and can be heated ahead of time to keep everything warm. I live using them for side dishes all the time, roasted carrots, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli everything tastes better when presented beautifully!

Not happy with the manufacturer's glaze jobThe manufacturer did not apply a thick enough layer of orange glaze around the pumpkin because I can see the dark cast iron underneath, which makes the color really dull and nowhere near as vibrant as pictured. The lid is actually perfect so that's why I know the pumpkin itself is not up to par. Really disappointed, as it is a beautiful piece.
Is the bottom enameled as well? Can it be used on a glass cooktop?
Asked by: Bkf1055
The bottom is enameled. It can be used on most glass cook tops, but please check with your stove's manufacturer to ensure you can use enameled cast iron on your particular model.

does the pan need to be seasoned before the first use and how do you season it if it is needed?
Asked by: Cinnamonrollcindy
Our enameled cast iron does not require seasoning, but you can season this item if you would like to add flavor to your food and help prevent sticking. We recommend apply a thin, even layer of cooking fat with a high smoke point, like vegetable or canola oil, to the inside of the cocotte and baking in the oven at 300° for about half an hour. Make sure to wipe away any excess oil while the cocotte is still warm.

Will it scratch the top of glass top stove?
Asked by: Judy4355
Our cast iron products are safe to use on all stove tops. However, we always recommend checking with your stove manufacturer to ensure they have no provisions regarding cast iron cookware.
