It's a really great grill pan, impressive even heat distribution and heat retention. Perfect for a home cooking grilled steak and fish, great to grill salmon, It'll be the most moist, tender and perfectly cooked food cooking in any Staub cast iron pot. Added side vegetables and herbs while grilling makes a perfect dish!!!
A cast iron perfect for day-to-day use and be passed from generation to generation. Double handle makes it easier to maneuver. Requires no seasoning. doesn't hold up
i got the original pan in 2015. I hardly used it because it's a pain to clean and i couldn't seem to get the meat right. Does make some pretty grill marks. Anyway... I was using the original one about 9 months ago- preheating on a flat top heat when it sounded like a gunshot. The pan cracked in half! Thanks to rona, it took Staub FOREVER to send a replacement, and this is the replacement- A BROKEN PAN. So... Don't bother with the grill pan. It's crap. The other pans.... BEST YOU'LL BUY. but not the grill pan. Save your money

Great sized grill pan. Best grill marks, better than a barbeque. Staub is perfect for indoor grilling. No seasoning required, and cast iron heats evenly, and maintains heat.
We use this pan several times a week, for chicken, beef, pork, fish and vegetables. Easy clean up. Learned to place oil on the food, not on the pan. This method prevents sticking and keeps spaces between the grids mess free.
Also oven safe, so I often start thick pieces of meat on the cooktop, and finish cooking in the oven, just like the restaurants. Great for spatchcock chicken too.

Love this grill pan!
This is such a great grill pan and I absolutely love using it. I don’t have an outdoor grill, but this Staub grill pan brings the outdoor grill inside. Whether it’s getting those amazing lines on a steak, to grilling pineapple to chicken and veggies, or even making paninis, the deep grills of the pan do a fantastic job of heating up and grilling your food thoroughly. Love using this piece in my kitchen and love the Basil color! Also love that since it’s enameled, I don’t have to season it after I use it.

Summer has never been better!
We are using our 12” cast iron grill pan on our portable induction burner for outdoor Korean bbq. It’s been incredible. Seers and cooks meet to perfect tenderness and great flavor.
Clean up is a breeze. Can’t wait to try the grill press we purchased with it.

This beautiful cherry grill pan is ideal for indoor or outdoor cooking. Dream about summer during the winter months while you grill inside or carry this outside to your grill and achieve the smokiness and texture you want without losing smaller food through the grates. Though this grill pan is a little more tedious to clean, it's worth the work because every time you use it, the cast iron gets even more seasoned promising delicious results every single time!

Why does food stick on the pan? The pan’s color started to change from inside. Is that normal?
Enameled cast iron is very textured and not treated with a nonstick coating, so it will stick unless you're using a generous amount of cooking fat. You can also season the pan to help prevent sticking and maintain the enamel. Without seasoning, it's normal to see some browning from the heat.
