Magnetic Appeal

Perfection
I love the wood trivets! It is the perfect hot pad when you're moving your dinner from the stove to the counter. All I have to do is pause briefly and let the magnets do the work. It sticks to the bottom of the pan and goes straight to the table. Just a friendly reminder, always check your pans before putting them in the oven and make sure you've removed the trivet. Once you burn these, they're not magnetic any longer.

This is genius
I can remove the Staub pot from the burner or oven and place it on the magnetic trivet. The magnet of the trivet securely attaches to the pot whether I head to the table or buffet. Or if I need to move the pot the trivet goes with it. You no longer need a 3rd arm to adjust a trivet while you are holding a hot pot.

It's always in the right place at the right time!
Why magnetic? To be in the right place at the right time of course! This trivet is designed to protect your table and counter surfaces from the extreme heat of your beautiful Staub cocottes and with the brilliant addition of it being magnetized you never have to worry about tipping or even sliding the cocotte and dislodging the trivet...it firmly attaches to the bottom of your pot until you remove it. Brilliant!

Using the same handles, it can be transferred to the table in one easy motion. One word of caution, when you need to put the pot back into the oven you need to remove the magnetic trivet or the wood will scorch.

A very nice trivet, perfect size!
This magnetic wood trivet will naturally brighten up my table setting beautifully. I liked that it is light, made of wood, scratch proof and slides smoothly around my counter. This trivet is a must have kitchen tools to prevent heat being transferred directly to my counter and table. This comes in couple shapes and sizes.

I am getting a 5.5 qt round dutch oven. What size magnetic trivet should I purchase?
Either size will work with the 5.5-qt round cocotte, but the 9" will be a better fit.

Is the 9 inch wood trivet the appropriate size for the 5.5qt dutch oven? It seems it might be a touch small. I would like to see all accessories listed by compatibility
The bottom diameter of the 5.5-qt round cocotte is 8.5", so the 9" trivet would fit perfectly. Our wood trivets are compatible with nearly all cookware of a similar diameter or smaller.
