Staub Olivewood 12-inch Spatula is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from When I first got this spatula as a gift I wasn't sure if I would use it much but it quickly became one of my favorite utensils! I reach for this while browning sausage or ground meat to crumble, I use it for stir fry and to incorporate ingredients like fried rice. It is sturdy and smooth and clean up nicely. The rounded handle is very comfortable to hold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you use the best cookware, then use the best utensils for the cookware. This olivewood spatula from Staub is one of many examples of non-metal utensils you should be using when you cook. Yes, wood can sometimes be pesky to clean (depending on what you're cooking) but it's worth it to prolong the life and interior coating of any cookware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for stirfry! The whole Staub olive wood collection is beautiful and I can't believe how long they last. I've had mine for over 2 years and it is still smooth and uncracked. I use this spatula for stir frying. Lifts and turns the food easily and so far the wood hasn't stained or faded like my other wood utensils.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for mincing I just used this spatula last night to mince ground beef while cooking. the edge is perfect for that chore. The handle is comfortable and the spatula doesn't soak up the oils from the sauce or meats. Great tool to have in the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful tool that doubles for serving This spatula is so beautiful because the grain of the wood so wonderfully pronounced. I use it both for cooking and serving since it is so nice. I really like the handle because it is thick and very stable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These beautiful spatulas are made from a single piece of olive wood. Because mother nature does her thing no two tools are alike making each unique.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real Olivewood/Won't Ruin Nonsticks.. Classic spatula. Olivewood is tough but won't destroy your nonstick pans. Nice alternative to silicone tools.

over time with mega use finish dulls...do you need to season with oil or the wood itself has enough natural oil....have always hand rinsed...seldom use dish soap.

Asked by: Wannabechef
I would recommend treating the wood with food-grade mineral oil in order to restore the shine.
