Rated 4 out of 5 by from A match made in heaven The Birchwood blades are comprised of a superior hard steel. An appropriate sharpening steel would need to be as hard or harder than the Birchwood steel. This one meets the need. The tungsten steel is hard enough to bring back a razor edge. And in this case it also has a birchwood handle! Perfect!
