We proudly present our iconic cast iron Cocotte in a new design variant: with a glass lid. This offers you the option of seeing what happens inside the Cocotte without losing the advantages of the tight-fitting lid that keeps moisture and flavour inside.

The lid is made from borosilicate glass, which is very robust and can stand temperatures of up to 200 °C/400 °F. It is lighter than a cast iron lid but has the same function of dropping the moisture back onto the food evenly, resulting in succulent meat and tender vegetables. The shape of the glass lid imitates that of its cast iron counterparts, making it really unique. Due to the special production process, it does not have a metal rim, meaning no food can get stuck between metal and glass. The ergonomic knob is made from metal with a silver sheen.

The classic black enamel coating makes this Cocotte a timeless all rounder in the kitchen that fits with any table décor and interior style. It also acts as a neutral backdrop that lets the star of your cooking stand out: the delicious, colourful food. Try it with a sweet potato gratin or some braised chicken with herbs and white wine sauce.
