ZWILLING TWIN Signature 19-pc Knife Block Set is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 535.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bummed! Great knives - poorly designed block! #1 - I would prefer you customize the block to the knives provided. If you want to leave one or two slots additional, which I assume is a cost-savings mechanism for Zwilling, do so after providing properly fitted slots for the knives provided. For a nice knife set, especially of German origin, it is frustrating that the block is too loose fitting for the knives & accessories! #2 - For a set that includes 9 steak knives, a boning knife would be a nice and expected complement, more so than an extra steak knife. #3 - Include a photo looking straight onto the block so that it is not so deceiving how the knives truly fit into the block.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Knives, even NICER knife block These knives came with the nicest knife block I have ever seen or had. All the knives fit smoothly and were held in place when I moved the block from the table to the counter. I saw lots of bad reviews talking about the block but It seems great to me. Knives seem high quality and lots of them. The confusing thing is that they are dishwasher safe but they are supposed to be hand washed. Either they are or they are not dishwasher safe??? I would recommend this set for someone looking for a high quality set of knives and are willing to pay more for a nice set. Look forward to using them for many years to come.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poor block design The knives fit poorly in the block. Most of them are loose and fall about when the block is moved. The knives are fine but the block is not ok.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 19 piece knife set I received this set as a gift. I already had a very nice knife set from oxo that I really liked, but after my very first use I fell in love with my new knives. I thought my other set was pretty slick until I used the new set. The small paring knife cut through a raw potato like butter. We’ve used the knives on block cheese, meat, end dicing vegetables. They’re wonderful. The handles feel real good in your hand as well. Very user friendly. Like any new knives, you need to be careful with those sharp blades. They’re not broken in until you’ve cut yourself. Already took care of that. Highly recommend!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent knife set Seems like a real high quality knife set. I'm a steel snob so I find it annoying that they do not specify the steel that is being used. They just say high carbon stainless which really doesn't make sense. Either a steel is stainless or it is high carbon, it can't be both. Anyhow, the true test of any knife set come when you have to sharpen them. I just got them so I have had to sharpen them yet. The only thing I don't like on first inspection is that the steak knife have a recurve. This is unnecessary and will make them harder to sharpen. I'm not sure what their reasoning is behind that blade design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great knives I received the knives as a gift, but even though I didn’t select them myself, I am very happy with the quality of the knives. To echo other reviewers however, I am disappointed in the block design. It was the first comment that I made when I was unpacking the set. As others have also stated, the 4.5” utility doesn’t seem to make sense given the 8 steak knives. Consideration should be given to replacing that one with something else. Otherwise, I expect to use these knives for a long time. They are a great addition to the kitchen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality Over 30 Yrs? Which knives did I have? Received some Zwilling-Henkel knives 30 years ago as a wedding gift. One recently broke so I bought this series to update. I thought my old knives were Twin-Signature as well. The new knives however are not nearly as sturdy and built with much less steel. The handles are too light. I am skeptical these will last as long. I'm not sure if I am comparing the same knives but I miss the quality of the old ones.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design of wood block... The design of the block is poorly designed. The small knives don't fit securely because the slots are unbelievably too big for the knife. Also, the advertising is deceiving, as they indicate there is a vegetable utility knife, which is actually just one more steak knife. I was disappointed to say the least!

Hello. I'm debating between the sugnature line and the pro line. What are the main differences between these 2 lines? Thank you.

Asked by: Mafalda
The Twin Signature is a part of a stamped series while the Zwilling Pro is forged. The Zwilling Pro series is a more balanced and heavier knife. In addition, the other differences consist of a different handle and bolster. Both are made in Germany.

I bought this set but the numbers on the knives do not match the numbers on the box. For example: no. 30726-200 on the box and no. 30726-202. All my knives end in 2. What is the difference?

Asked by: Teresa
There is no difference. Item numbers are just an internal way for us to keep inventory, and the numbers change from time to time for various reasons.

I just received this 19 piece TWIN Signature set and received nine steak knives instead of eight.  I did not receive item 30728-120, a 4.5" vegetable utility knife.  How can this be corrected?

Asked by: Misty

What’s the difference between the double and single signature?

Asked by: Kent_question
We have a several different lines of knives separated into two brands: ZWILLING J.A. Henckels contains our premium cutlery lines, manufactured in Germany. All ZWILLING knives have a "TWIN" logo on the blade, two little stick figures. J.A. Henckels International contains our entry level cutlery lines. These are manufactured in Spain and Asia (depending on the specific product). These knives have the single stick figure logo on the blade. These TWIN Signature knives are made in Germany. Please note that while TWIN logo knives are made in Germany, some accessories like blocks, honing steels, and shears, are not. If you have any questions about specific products, please let us know
