With a FRIODUR ice-hardened blade made of Nitro 60 special formula stainless steel, these knives boast long-lasting durability. Success with this blade requires an acute edge angle that is resistant to chipping which this knife has in spades! Twin Fin II is manufactured in Seki Japan with all of the craftsmanship one would expect from a premium Japanese knife. Each blade is hand crafted by 46 Japanese artisans. Made out of innovative Nitro 60 Steel, Twin Fin II is extremely durable, chip and corrosion resistant with a razor sharp long lasting edge. Each knife is individually weighted for perfect balance with a curved bolster and ergonomic handle for a exceptional cutting experience. Added bonus these are dishwasher safe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Twin Fin is an incredible knife line made in Japan where extreme sharpness and durability is a requirement. It's made from a nitrogen infused steel that brings a level of durability to knives previously unknown in the premium knife world. They are not only razor sharp with the extremely thin, sharp blade, but this new steel provides chip resistance, durability, plus they are dishwasher safe! Each knife is individually weighted which means the handle and blade are balanced perfectly. This Nakiri will chop and slice through most any fruit, vegetable, meat or fish. A favorite blade style of my sons who love to cook.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much like a santoku, this Twin Fin II Nakiri is a great knife to use for chopping up onions, finely mincing garlic or slicing up some green peppers. The uniquely-shaped blade is built with razor-like sharpness and long-lasting durability thanks to the almighty FC61 stainless steel. That steel also makes this knife okay to toss into the dishwasher at the end of the day and prevents rusts and stains no matter how many times through. Grip the comfort and balance that the ergonomic handle and curved bolster offers and you'll be glad you added this nakiri to your cutlery collection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feels Great!!! I love how the knife feels in my hand and even though it has a unique handle, it doesn't matter whether you're right or left handed. The knife also has a good weight to it. The only thing I wish they'd add is a hollow edge to the blade. But this series doesn't seem to have it, so I trust that even after some time, vegetables won't stick to it too badly. I purchased this one on sale at cuteryandmore.com. A shout out to them, as their delivery is fast and their prices seem very competitive and I've never had an issue with them in the 5 times I've ordered from them.

I have been using this knife on a regular basis and continue to be impressed by its performance. The handle is extremely comfortable to hold. The innovative curved bolster allows for full use of the blade as well as a perfect spot to grip your knife. Exceptional quality. Get this knife in your hand- feel the difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Knife While I have purchased numerous Zwilling knives in the past this is my first of their Japanese style. So far the blade has been razor sharp, hopefully the ice hardening keeps it that way for awhile. The knife is super solid with nice balance and stays comfortable for the duration of use. I bought this style of knife due to it's reputation for slicing and dicing vegetables and wish I'd bought one years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice looking Nakiri A really nice blade to chop with. Not as daunting in size as a cleaver, but still does the job of chopping veggies, fruits, potatoes, meat. I like the look of this knife, the modernity of the stainless steel design is really nice. The steel is a very durable steel for a Japanese knife, and with it being ice-hardened, it’ll last a long time which is great. Great knife by Zwilling!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Nakiri has quickly become one of my most used knives in the kitchen. I use it on meat, poultry, and vegetables for all my slicing, dicing and chopping. The Twin Fin ll is razor sharp and that is what impress me right out of the box. This line is super sharp, durable and highly corrosion resistant due to the N60 steel and the ice-hardening process. I chop like a pro now!
