How do you remove the swivel base from the 26 slot knife block? I don't want it to swivel.
You have to line up the hole, in the swivel base, with the screws on the stationary part of the base. Then swivel the hole in the swivel base to each of the screws to remove them. Then you can attach the rubber feet to the knife block.

Does this work for the Pro set of knives? I noticed the blocks for the Pro have different shaped slots.
Yes, our Zwilling Pro knives (with the exception of specialties like our 4.5", 6", and 7" cleavers) will fit in this block.

will this block hold a cleaver
Most of our knife blocks are unable to accomodate cleavers, but this block does have a slot for a cleaver.
