Ceramic is the Best
This sharpening steel actually sharpens your blades. If your going to spend the time honing and or sharpening on a steel use ceramic. Handle is comfortable and is use its edge as a guide to lineup the blade so I work at the correct angle.

Great tool for keeping your knives sharp
This is a great tool for helping maintain the edge and sharpness on your German or Japanese knives. Since this is a ceramic rod, it will really get a nice edge back on your knives, keeping them sharper longer.

Ceramic Rod is one of the best tool!
A very nice ceramic honing, should be used regularly in between sharpening, it's part of knife maintenance tool to align the blade’s edge and stays sharpened to it's angle and increase cutting efficiency.

Maintain the edges
The ceramic is hard enough to be effective on both German and Japanese knives. If you've invested in good knives, also invest in a sharpening rod to maintain them. This one is a great option.

Ceramic is a great surface to use for honing a variety of steels. This honing steel has a lot of surface space, a hefty handle and is weighted well for exceptional results.
