Forged from high carbon steel, they have perfect weight and balance, very sharp blades and hold their edge really well. This beautiful magnetic easel set is a statement piece for any kitchen. It has all of your essential knives: the chef knife for rocking cutting motion, bread knife for easily slicing bread without mashing or tearing; the razor sharp santoku designed to chop veggies with ease, prep and parers for small fruits, vegetables and meats and cheeses. Guaranteed for a lifetime so you will never have to replace them.

The magnetic board makes sure that they are secure until I reach for them. This is a excellent set of knives too. They are some of the best knives Zwilling makes, and the selection is excellent. Everything that's needs to make a world--class meal. Plus the knives are made from top quality steel that holds an edge; a full tang blade that runs the length of the handle, which is secured with three rivets. These knives will be around for a long, long time.

The Professional S knives are forged from a special formula steel to be very hard in order to retain their sharp edge but to also be corrosion resistant. The patented ice hardening process ensures they will be crack and chip resistant. This means you will be getting the sharpest knife that will stay that way use after use. They only need to be sharpened about once per year. The handle and blade are perfectly weighted. These knives will have a heavier feel in your hand than a stamped knife. I particularly love magnetic easels if you have room on your counter....they make it easy to spot and select the knife you want and keep your knives clean and dry. This set comes with a handy shears and honing steel. I personally think there is no substitute to Zwilling shears you'll love them as well as this whole set.

It's the best way to flaunt, showcased your best knives collections with this hygienic magnetic knife easel. These knives in this set are a primary essential knives in your kitchen counter and it's a lifetime investment. Dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended because the abrasiveness of the dishwasher may harm your knives and dull the blade. The dishwasher will scratch, chip, dull, stain, and otherwise damage your knives. This will lead to a once-beautiful knife looking worn and aged. One cycle can chip the blade or snap it in two. Then there’s the detergents, which can be just as dangerous as the machine itself, causing knives to dull or discolor. Also it is personal safety including your fingers when you’re unloading and loading, it is easy to reach for young children who may be in danger reaching their favorite spoon in the dishwasher. These have a lifetime limited warranty for any manufacturer's defects.
