ZWILLING 4-Stage Pull Through Knife Sharpener is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 498.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sharpener makes knives dull. The sharpener was bought six month ago and it doers not works. Knives are dull and try with many strokes to sharpen the knives. Very disappointed with this tool, and for this brand! After some inspection, it looks like the stones are rounded at the very bottom, not cutting the edge of the metal as it should.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sharpener I bought this along with a new set of knives. To test it out, I used it on a 10 year old set of box store Faberware knives that the new set would be replacing. In one word, AMAZING! It put a razor sharp edge on a knife that has been abused and neglected. I highly recommend this product to restore and maintain the sharpness of your investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly good product I purchased this so that my daughter can sharpen the knife set I gave her. The Costco vendor explained clearly how to use this product. We followed his directions by sharpening the knife on “coarse” 10 times and on “fine” 5 times. We only had to go through that process once for all of our standard knives. However, we had to do it multiple times for our Santoku knife using the Asian side of the sharpener and it still wasn’t sharpened to our liking. But I wouldn’t attribute it to the sharpener being faulty. I think it was because I used the Santoku one 90% more than the other knives. Overall a great product and it gets the job done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ruined my knife I LOVE all of my zwilling j.a.henckels knives. After using this sharper, none of my knives work. It ruined all 3 of them. None of knives can slice a lemon after using the sharpner. Very disappointed with product and brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice little 4-stage sharpener, for both the German and Asian made knives in your collection. Does the trick, but will be the first to be replaced among ceramic or stone sharpening methods. It also tears away at your blade more than traditional sharpening methods, leaving a pile of steel behind. Best to learn gentler ways to treat your investment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from junk no true instructions. very poor performance on type of blade or edge. just so disappointed. really just want to take a hammer to it and smash it into a million pieces. If the returning it wasn't such a nightmare i would have returned 5 seconds after the first use. JUNK

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MUCH Better than Pampered Chef sharpener The only two cons are the size of the actual sharpener and the stability of the sharpener. The grip handle is one and large, the dual sharpening areas for Standard vs. Asian knifes is convenient. The stability of the sharpener is a bit sensitive when you are applying low pressure during the fine sharpening. The Pros: everything else, the Zwilling sharpener is MUCH better than the Pampered Chef version of a sharpening tool. Our primary knife is well loved, used multiple times daily, as this is the first time in four years we have been able to restore a genuinely sharp blade, Thank You.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It’s like having new knives! I am trying to improve my cooking techniques so I was n search of better knives than I currently have. In doing my research I’ve seen the Zwilling brand a lot. I was n search of a new set of knives when I came across this knife sharpener. So I thought I’ll try sharpening what I have first. I have a very old set of Cutco knives that I’ve had for almost 20 years. They were great when I first got them but of course now they r very dull. I sharpened my chef’s knife and I felt like I had a brand new knife! I still want to upgrade and get another set of knives but now the need isn’t as urgent.

I'm a little confused...I thought 20 degrees is a western knife, and Asian knives are anywhere between 10 and 16 degrees.......depending on manufacturer. Yet you define a "western knife" as 15 degrees...can you clarify? Thanks

Asked by: Anonymous
Our Western knives are 15°, and our Asian blades are 10-12° per side.
