GourmetGourmet knives have the three rivet handle that is both comfortable and durable. I love the logo as the second pin in the handle. They are made of high carbon German steel in Germany so you know they are sharp and are going to stay that way. Because they are stamped, not forged, they are lighter, flexible and less expensive that their forged "cousin".
This Chinese clever is perfect for chopping through large vegetables such as cabbage. The blade is extremely wide, but light and comfortable. With a little practice, you may prefer this over your chef knife.

Best little cleaverOf course I had to add a Zwilling cleaver to my collection. It's the perfect size, excellent quality plus the weight and feel allow me to chop efficiently and cleanly when a regular knife just won't do! This cleaver is perfect for chopping through small bones as well as making it easy to carve up watermelon.

Very comfyThis Zwilling Gourmet 7" Chinese Chef's knife has an extremely comfortable grip, and
makes chopping large quantities of vegetables and herbs very easy. The blade is sharp enough to cut vegetables effortlessly, and is durable enough to cut through chicken and beef bones.
I use this knife everyday, and it really holds an edge requiring minimal maintenance. Dishwasher safe, and life time warranty against manufacturer defects. Zwilling is a
name you can trust and they definitely make a superior product.

The Gourmet line is a very good line of stamped knives. They are manufactured under tight controls and precise standards at Zwilling’s factory in Solingen, Germany. They have a full tang, running from the tip to the heel of the handle making these knives sturdy and stable. The comfortable handle is solid without being heavy.
Because the composition of the steel, these knives will stay sharp and responsive with every cut. Keep the blades honed, sharpen once or twice a year and you will enjoy them each time you use them. This 7-inch Chinese chef’s knife is a terrific vegetable cleaver. Heavy enough to get everything done, but not so heavy its strains. The straight-edge of the blade cuts through big and small foods with ease. Dishwasher safe, but hand wash for to keep it looking new.

I use this cleaver almost ever day and love the balance and weight of it in my hand. It is not too heavy, which for me, makes it easier to work with for extended periods of time. I much prefer a cleaver for cutting vegetables and this one is made in Germany with German steel. Super quality and will be around in my kitchen for years to come.

A great inexpensive Chinese cleaverThis is a massive knife and it cuts really well. The Gourmet knife is ice hardened really well so that it makes it a super durable knife, and I can really grip this large knife securely and with ease with the comfortable handle. The perfect knife for cutting large pieces of meat, fish, without having to put a lot of effort into the cuts.

If you prefer your cleavers to be lighter, this Gourmet one is ideal! Get all the durability and sharpness from a Zwilling knife without the heavy duty feel. The handle is comfortable allowing for a controlled grip for whatever prep task you tackle with this cleaver.

Newly aquired Zwilling Chinese chef's knifeI found this Chinese chef's knife to be excellent. I like the balance. It allows me to chop vegetable quickly and perfectly.
It will cut fish and poultry bones, but we do not recommend it for more solid beef or pork bones. This style is stamped so it is thinner and not as durable as a forged blade.
