A birds beak peeling knife like this is so useful not only for peeling apples and potatoes but I like to use mine for removing the stems from strawberries and scoring the peel of citrus fruits for peeling. This knife is stamped so it is light but it has a full tang of steel running through the handle which makes it sturdy. It is super sharp and stays that way for a very long time. I have never had mine sharpened yet and it's been more than a year.

Great peeling knifeThis is such a great peeling knife. The steel is really durable for a stamped knife since the high carbon stainless steel was ice hardened, helping give the knife a longer and sharper edge than most stamped blades. The handle really contours nicely in my hand as well. A great comparable knife if you like the look of the Zwilling Pro collection, but want a budget friendly price point. I like the smaller blade on this compared to the 4”, it’s a little easier to really get a close peel with a smaller 2.75” blade. This is a great alternative style paring knife.

Knife ReviewThis little knife is awesome for your preparing needs. Quality made with three rivets and wood handle. Blade going the whole length. Looks real strong. Also has a lifetime warranty. When the knife becomes dull it needs to be resharpened (honed). You’ll need to get a Zwilling J A Henckels sharpening steel. It looks similar to a paring knife but the blade curves. I love it and look forward to this being a favorite of mine.

Pelling, Paring, and Boning Knife! This Gourmet bird's beak peeler can also be used for paring, peeling fruit, and a small kitchen tool boning knife too. The sturdy blade provides the right balance, controlled by the thumb and index finger, and very sharp. This is a single-piece stamped blade of solid steel.
I have never thought how versatile this knife can be other than for peeling and paring knife, up until I learned more about it. This bird's beak peeler knife can do more than it looks.

Great PeelerVery difficult finding a small premium parer. Glad I came across this one. Great design, shaped to fit comfortably in the hands. The sloping blade makes it so easy to navigate around round vegetable corners, and the sharp blade makes paring a breeze.
Priced right for a knife made in Germany, and with high carbon steel. Don't mind the stamped blade, don't really need a bolster for peeling.

My favorite!Bird's beak paring knife is a must have in my kitchen. It does vegetables - all kinds of vegetables - in whatever form I get them. Brussels sprouts on the stock come off cleanly. Turning an artichoke is so convenient with the curved blade. Trimming the ends of asparagus. I enjoy finding new uses for this terrific shape.
The Gourmet line is a very good line of stamped knives. They are manufactured under tight controls and precise standards at Zwilling’s factory in Solingen, Germany. They have a full tang, running from the tip to the heel of the handle making these knives sturdy and stable. The comfortable handle is solid without being heavy.
Because the composition of the steel, these knives will stay sharp and responsive with every cut. Keep the blades honed, sharpen once or twice a year and you will enjoy them each time you use them. Dishwasher safe, but hand wash to keep them looking new.

Love this peelerThis is such a great little knife! I use it almost every day. It's light, flexible and very sharp. It's the perfect tool for hulling strawberries, getting bad spots out of apples as well as peeling them. It is also one of the knives that goes to the beach because it is perfect for deveining shrimp. Such a great value for a knife made in Germany.

Gourmet knives are the top of the line stamped knives. They are made from German Special Formula Steel, also forged from one piece of stamped steel so super durable. This paring knife is razor sharp and can help do decorative vegetable work extremely well. I absolutely love the angle of the blade.
Is there an available 3 inch paring knife with a serrated blade
Asked by: Jw fortwayne
Hi, thank you for your question! Currently, we do not have a Zwilling 3-inch paring knife with a serrated edge. However, we do offer the Henckels Silvercap 3-inch Paring Knife, which features a micro-serrated blade. If you're interested, the item number for this knife is 13570-083, and it is available on our Zwilling website. Pleas see link for the knife:https://www.zwilling.com/us/henckels-silvercap-3-inch-paring-knife-13570-083/13570-083-0.html?srsltid=AfmBOooK6DarwIPiXhINqDUkgsFgtjjce2OdAQ6dbL0MFJoN3o5glzYt. We hope this helps!

Do you make the 2.5” bird beak knife with a white handle? If not, why not?
