Happily ever after
My niece received this cutlery large set for her wedding. I could not figure out why anyone would need this many knives. She was quick to explain. She and her new husband both love to cook together. So there are plenty of knives for them to be using at the same time. The chef and santoku or both paring knives. The wanted a cleaver and this block actually has a slot for the cleaver. They needed a boning knife. They knew they needed steak knives and 8 are included. She was able to justify each piece in the set. I was impressed. She convinced me. It's a great line. Comfortable handles, really sharp. They are off to a good start.

great full set
I wanted to make a one time purchase. This complete set has all of my needs met from paring and prep all the way up to the slicing knives. The Four Star design is a classic. The handles are very comfortable and the texture of the handles give me confidence in my grip as I am cutting. The forged German steel and made blades are very strong and hold an edge for a very long time. When its time to sharpen they are very easy to maintain. The steak knives are also great. Basically they are smaller versions of the boning knife, going through the same process as all of the other knives. The straight blade rather than serrated style allows them to cut and not tear food an also be sharpened when the time comes.

The block set that has it all
Four Star knives are one of Zwilling’s best collections. The high carbon stainless steel cuts through anything with ease. Thanks to Zwilling’s patented forging and ice hardening processes, you get exceptionally sharp and durable knives, making them stand out against other German knives. The Four Star knives are on the lighter side, which is great if you are cutting for long extended periods of time, or if you need a light knife for arthritis, etc.. The block set has everything you need, you will never go without having the right knife in your kitchen again!

Perfect 20 block set!
At this moment I am writing this review, this Four Star 20pc. block set does not include description of what's in the block. I therefore decided to list them for everyone's references.
This 20pc. knife set includes, 3" Paring Knife perfect for peeling fruits and cutting small vegetables and so as the 4" Paring Knife. The 5.5" Fine Edge Prep Knife, is great for butterflying chicken breast as well as cutting medium size of meat and vegetables. A 5" Serrated Utility Knife is great for cutting and slicing tomatoes delicate skin as well as fruits like strawberries. An 8" Bread Knife is exceptional for cutting breads, bagel and baguettes even perfect for cutting cake. A 5.5" Flexible Boning Knife is being used for deboning meat. The 7" Hollow Edge Santoku Knife and 8" Chef's Knife slightly different in functionality and usage, both are great for cutting and chopping food either meat, vegetables or fruits. Now, this 6" Meat Cleaver cuts every meat bone effortless for its heavy weight. One of the best piece in this set is to fill every slot with 8 Forged 4.5" Steak Knives. TWIN Kitchen Shear is made in Germany and it is as sharp as the knife. Yu also have honing TWIN 9" Sharpening Steel to maintain knife edges and keep its sharpness longer, This is the very important for all the above is to have a super block Twin natural Bamboo 19 slots block.
These knives are all manufactured in Germany, fabricated with special formula high carbon NO STAIN steel, forged from a single piece of solid steel. Ice-hardened FRIODUR blade starts sharper, stays sharper longer, and has superior resilience. Precision-honed blade and laser-controlled edge ensures ideal cutting angle for sharpness and durability. Complete Set
Four Star is made in Germany, forged from high carbon German steel and is guaranteed to last a lifetime just like the Pro knife. Its fine edge is razor sharp and will have amazing edge retention. The molded handle is the perfect solution for someone who prefers a lighter knife but doesn't want to sacrifice quality.
This set has everything you could possibly need including a few of my favorites; the razor sharp 7" Santoku, a bread knife plus 8 forged steak knives. You may never need to buy another knife.

This large block set contains 8 steak knives and 9 kitchen knives. The additional pieces are the block the sharpening steel and the shears.The Four star line eof knives are a 3/4 tang and a fully moulded handle for comfort and lightness. the steel is comparable to our other high carbon german steel knives.

You Will Never Have to Buy Another Knife
This block has everything knife you need in a kitchen. Four Star knives are made from German Special Formula Steel and forged from one piece of steel so durable for a lifetime. The knives are also ice hardened which translates to the blade starting sharp and staying sharper longer. The handles are lighter weight that other Zwilling German knives so a nice option from heavy handles. The block has a boning knife and full size santoku which never come in blocks, 8 steak knives too!
