Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have! I have needed baking dishes like this FOREVER and didn't know it was this exact set I needed! If I'm honestly, I don't find the small one of too too much use, but the medium and large dishes are fantastic for Thanksgiving and Christmas type dishes, casseroles and the like, especially because the dishes are so beautiful! I also love them for things like enchiladas throughout the year. My absolute favorite part over a Pyrex or something, is that these are broiler safe which I need from time to time and really appreciate!! Wonderful product. Kitchen staple. Must have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Bakes Well These baking dishes are beautiful. I ordered the dark blue color. They are very well made and I love having multiple sizes of dishes. I love that they easily stack within each other. I already had a white medium sized one and it bakes evenly and cleanup is very easy. I wanted white, but it was not available this time, so I got the dark blue color in the 3 piece set. This set is very well packaged as the outside box was thrown and dented by shipping, but because of the well packed box, all 3 pieces survived. They wash up very nicely in the dishwasher. I also bought the matching pie dish as well. I would definitely recommend these baking dishes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice dishes The multiple sizes are perfect for different dishes. The smallest is great for when you’re just baking for two. I like having the option to choose. They’re very easy to wash and are nice and sturdy without being too heavy. I will say that when using the largest dish to bake, the handles broke off after I took the dish out of the oven… I’ve never experienced this with any other ceramic cookware/dishes. I was very surprised as this is a reputable brand. Luckily the retailer we purchased from sent us new dishes at no charge. I like these and will continue using them!

These dishes are not only stunning to look at but also exude quality with their solid and heavy build. I’m always worried about ordering breakable things online as they often arrive chipped or broken, but Staub’s attention to detail begins with the packaging — these were so well packed that I kept the box and inserts for when I move house. The citron colour is beautiful in natural light and the interior looks like a muted pale yellow/cream; the photos don’t do it justice but I’m so glad I choose the citron. They are very solid and easy to clean (even in the dishwasher) but my favourite ‘feature’ is that these can come straight out of the freezer and directly into the oven! I was amazed that this is possible without cracking from the extreme temperature change.

When I went to wash it, I found a large crack running through it. (I have now noticed several reviews on other sites mentioning similar experiences - so BEWARE)

Can you use these to sauté and brown meet on the stovetop first and then bake?

For sautéing or browning meat before baking, we recommend using one of our Staub Cast Iron pieces, which are safe for all stovetops, including induction, and can seamlessly go from stovetop to oven. I have STAUB CERAMIC - RECTANGULAR BAKING DISHES/ GRATINS, and they have crazed all over the inside of the dishes. Is this normal? Is this ok? And if not, is it covered by warranty?

Is 9 x 13 the inside dimensions of the large baking dish in this set, or does that measurement include the handles? What is the quart capacity of the large baking dish? Is it the same item as the 4.75 quart baking dish that is sold separately?

I measured the liquid capacity of the set of 3 rectangular ceramic baking dishes, getting each of them full to the brim. The largest size holds 136 oz brimful, but 3.5 quarts would be the maximum limit that I would fill. The middle size holds 74 oz brimful, actual max usage 2.0 quarts. Smallest holds 32 oz  brimful, maximum actual usage 3 cups  (24 oz).

Hello, these baking dishes are very nice indeed, I have two of them of different size. My question is whether it's save using it for grill, I have a gas grill in my (gas) oven, at the top of it, fixed temperature. Is it a chance of damage for such use?
