Description
A variation on a classic, this fry pan has everything you love about cast iron, but with a stylish beechwood handle that stays cool while cooking. The fry pan body is constructed of Staub's prized cast iron, enameled in a slightly textured Black Matte to promote browning. Cast iron efficiently retains heat for even cooking throughout the whole process. The bottom is polished and smooth to allow it to work with all cooktops, including glass, induction, electric, and gas.

Great
Bought the 11" version. Beechwood handle quite different than any Staub I've purchased in the past. Great for searing and ability to maintain heat is why I bought this. Steal deal and like all Staub products I've purchased thus far, expecting will last a lifetime!

Wood handle cracked after a few uses
The pan is dope and I really hope to keep it well for long term use, while the beach wood handle at the joint cracked on both sites after only 3-4 times usage, now I can hear the squeak while lifting the pan, so disappointed about the brand this time.

A new family heirloom
This frying pan is a testament to the effectiveness of cast iron since this design looks like it could have been made 100 years ago, but it still is one of the best pans out there. Once improvement that this pan has over other cast iron is that it is enameled, so it doesn't need any extra care, like normal cast iron does. I plan on passing this down to my children and I know that it will be as great for them as it has been for me.

Wonderful addition to my Staub collection
I bought this pan simply because of the name and the excellent price here on Zwilling. This pan came nicely packaged with the signature "french flag" ribbon around the handle. This piece is heavy and well-made. I have not yet cooked on it, but I am assuming it works just like my other Staub cookware. The maple handle is integrated well with this piece and it looks more like artwork than a simple pan. I love it!

There was a chip on the rim of the pan. I was too tired and doesn’t want to go through return/exchange process, besides I needed something to cook my eggs. I already waited too long to order this pan.

This little fry pan is perfect for cooking up some eggs or crisping some tortillas. The cast iron makes for an excellent heating surface to expertly cook whatever food you put on it. The beechwood handle makes the pan nice and light while maintaining the superb durability that Staub is known for.

I liked that this Staub skillet cast iron is a wooden handle, better grip, comfortable and oven. This fry pan is deep for sauteing, perfect for frying fish, eggs, bacon, and a gratin dish pan.
Staub enameled black matte interior imparts texture, promoting exceptional browning, this fry pan is great for searing chicken breasts, and short ribs, or caramelizing.
Cast iron offers steady, even heat distribution, the temperature of the pan won't drop as you cook. Though this is not a nonstick pan, cooking food without sticking makes this an exceptional pan. Enameled cast iron is easy to clean and doesn’t require seasoning. Suitable for all cooktops, including induction. Requires no seasoning, it is ready to use for daily cooking.
Dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended.

My teenage son eats burgers for a snack. He has learned how to make his own and this is his favorite pan. It heats up quickly and evenly but he says the burgers are perfectly crisp (he means seared). I use the pan for everything - eggs, grilled veggies, no limit on what it can do.
