Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great touch of whimsy Staub offered this as a free bonus to my purchase and I loved it so much I got the fish, pig and snail to swap out on my other Staub (and Le Creuset) pieces. I even found a cow and rabbit online to complete the menagerie, though Staub now sells the cow, too. Given all the cooking we are doing nowadays and cancelled vacations, I thought buying some new Staub pieces plus these cute knobs would make cooking more enjoyable and less the chore. My grandkids like to cook so they “pick” their fav animal pot and then we decide what to make in it. Staub quality the best.

It is just udder-ly adorable! This knob makes Staub cocottes more gorgeous than they already are; it adds a little character, creating a personal touch to you cocottes with diameters between 18 to 41 cm. Because of the wide variety of animal knobs, you can use them to identify what the dish in the cocotte contains! This can tell your guests whether the protein is chicken, pork, beef, fish, lobster or seafood, snail and so on. Truly a work of art.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lobster Knob - Love It! This pot originally came with the chicken knob but i moved it to another pot. The lobster knob is gorgeous, a good size, easy to grip. All Staub knobs will fit most other brands so you can still bring the Staub style onto your table. Something so simple just takes cookware to the next level. There are many knob options, pick what best suites you!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute but have issue to remove the old knob... I got two of these, super cute. I was able to replace one (which is super lovely) but for the second one, I can't remove the original knob, and I am stripping the screw at this point...not sure what to do.

Is the screw included with the knob and is it also Stainless Steel????

The knob itself is made with stainless steel to ensure durability and a quality finish. For installation, you will need to use the existing screw from your current Staub lid or obtain a compatible stainless steel screw separately. Can the animal knobs be used on the glass lids?

These are intended for use with cast iron lids, but they will fit glass lids as well.
