INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ⅓ cups pizza flour or whole wheat flour
  • 1 packet (7g) active dry yeast
  • 5 ounces lukewarm water
  • 1 heaped teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Extra flour for dusting

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Place the flour, yeast, water, salt, and oil in a medium bowl. Using the ZWILLING XTEND Hand Mixer fitted with the dough hook, mix just until the ingredients come together as a dough.
  2. Using your hands, form the dough into a smooth ball, cover, and leave to rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour, until the dough has doubled in volume.
  3. When the dough has risen, punch it down and knead on a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into portions depending on the size of the pizza you’d like to bake. Roll out into circles or spread evenly onto a 12x16-inch baking sheet.
  4. When ready to bake, top the dough with desired sauce and toppings
