INGREDIENTS
- 2 ⅓ cups pizza flour or whole wheat flour
- 1 packet (7g) active dry yeast
- 5 ounces lukewarm water
- 1 heaped teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Extra flour for dusting
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Place the flour, yeast, water, salt, and oil in a medium bowl. Using the ZWILLING XTEND Hand Mixer fitted with the dough hook, mix just until the ingredients come together as a dough.
- Using your hands, form the dough into a smooth ball, cover, and leave to rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour, until the dough has doubled in volume.
- When the dough has risen, punch it down and knead on a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into portions depending on the size of the pizza you’d like to bake. Roll out into circles or spread evenly onto a 12x16-inch baking sheet.
- When ready to bake, top the dough with desired sauce and toppings
- Bake in a conventional oven, an outdoor pizza oven, or grill at 450-500°F for 10-15 MIN. or until crust is golden brown.
