Sculpted handle for long use
The sculpted handle on this chef's knife has made it popular for folks who spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It's a comfortable grip for many different size hands. This Forged Premio line is a handsome set of knives. Each knife is forged from German steel and made to very exacting standards. The fine edge blades made from high quality stainless steel can take and hold an edge ensuring years and years of enjoyable use. Hone them regularly. The full tang blade runs through the integrated bolster and triple riveted handle for maximum stability and durability.
Dishwasher safe, but I always hand wash my knives. I like them to look new and dishwashing detergents are very hard on knives.

Perfect for my daughter.
My teenage daughter is just getting interested in cooking so I wanted to get her a good chef knife without breaking the bank. This has all the qualities that I was looking for without having to spend an outrageous amount of money.
The German steel helps keeps the edge sharp, and easy to maintain. The full bolster keeps it well balanced and comfortable to hold. The full tang is also a quality feature that adds strength and durability. The rivets give the knife an authentic look and feel. My daughter's knife skills have truly improved once she started using it.

Best knife ever
I have been talking about henckels knives for months and as a Christmas gift I received the chefs knife to start my set. I am happy with the knife and can’t way to start buying more to make it a complete set. Right out the package it was sharp and didn’t need any sharpening. It cuts through everything like butter and the handle fits nicely in my hand. Would recommend or buy for anyone who needs a knife set when they start cooking.

Best knife ever
This is my second knife in this series. My first went to my son, an avid cook. I missed it so I purchased another. I love it. Very versatile and it holds its edge incredibly well. Nice balance and hand feel.

Awesome chefs knife at a great price point
I had been looking for a decent chefs knife for a while. I was originally going to get a victorinox fibrox, but I happened across this knife while shopping one day. It came very sharp right out of the box, which is a huge plus for me. I hate having to sharpen a knife before I can use it. I like that it is forged rather than stamped. I also like that it has a full tang and some weight to it. Overall I think it is an awesome budget chefs knife and would highly recommend it

Excellent knife
Bought this knife because I was looking at getting a good chef knife since all my other knives I’ve had since getting my own place. I’ve had the knife now for 6 months and it’s still very sharp. Cuts through anything with ease and is a great workhorse in the kitchen. I just ordered a whole knife block set of the Henckels forged premio.

Why does it say made in China? I thought all Zwillings were made in Germany.
Our J.A. Henckels International knives are made of German steel in China or Spain, depending on the style. Our Zwilling/Twin knives are made in Germany.
