Bought this set to help teach my daughter (12) to learn how to chop veggies. Since it's the same knife only smaller, she can mimic my every move. When she is more comfortable, she can grow into my 7" santoku and have both at her disposal. This is na nice lightweight knife for practicing. as she grows she can the begin to move to my heavier forged knives easily. The handle is very nicly shaped and should provide the best grip for her.

The ultimate vegetable knives
I absolutely love these knives! I use them to cut, slice, and dice all my vegetables and the wide blade makes it super easy for me to then transfer those vegetables from the cutting board to the pan. I love how the handle is molded to my hand and is very comfortable to use. I also love how I have a choice between the 2 different sizes so that I can use the smaller one when I am cutting smaller things, like garlic or shallots.

Now your friends and family can help prepare meals with you in the kitchen. The santoku is one of my favorite and most used knives in my kitchen. It is a multitasker and can tackle meat, poultry and vegetables. The hollowed out edge creates air pockets that effectively keeps food from sticking to the blade. My kitchen just became more fun!

A dual set that you will use and use! Do not let the price fool you! These are a set of 2 great Santokus to tackle any (mostly) veggie tasks you will do. I tend to grab the 5" more as it feels better in my smaller hands. Both are hollow edge - so the veggies fall off and there is no using fingers to clean off knife!

Perfect duo. Knives are made from high quality stainless steel so no tarnishing or rusting. The blades are also made from one piece of steel so no stress points. The hollow edges on the blades help move food away from cutting edge, nice when you are chopping a ton of vegetables. Handles are extremely comfortable.

These are great knives for anyone who is just starting out with cooking. The curved handles fit the curve of my hand very well, and the edge is very sharp. They make chopping and prep work quick and easy. Having the option of sizes is great for anyone that may not always want a large knife.

These two Definition santokus are ideal for prep work that requires chopping and mincing. These knives are pretty lightweight but a really durable and well balanced. The Definition handles are comfortable to grip and and the sharp, hollow edge blades guide food up and off the knife.

My wife and I love cooking together. I got this set as we started to explore Asian cuisines (the right tools for the right job). I love that we can actually cook together rather than sharing a knife and taking turns. The handles are super comfortable and the blades are super sharp.
