Salmon with herb and mustard crust

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 slices of toast
  • ¼ bunch chives
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 salmon filets (approx. 125 g/4.5 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 oz (30 g) softened butter
  • 2 tsp medium hot mustard
  • 1 tsp honey

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Toast bread and cut into cubes. Wash the chives, shake dry and cut into fine rolls. Zest half of the lemon. Wash the salmon filets, pat dry, brush all over with oil and season with salt and pepper.
  2. To make the crust, combine butter, mustard and honey until creamy. Stir in lemon zest, chives and bread cubes and season everything with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon filets on the grid in the ZWILLING air fryer and spread the crust evenly over them. Cook in the "Fish" program at 350°F for approx. 10-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon filets.
  4. Remove at the end of the cooking time and enjoy immediately. Serve with fried potatoes and cucumber salad.

Tip

If you want to add spice, you can use hot mustard. Alternatively, coarse-grained mustard is also suitable.
