Rated 5 out of 5 by from My wife is jealous! We purchased this along with a frying pan and the 2qt saucepan as gifts for our sons recent wedding. When we opened them to sneak a peek, my wife said “wow, these are nicer than our stuff.” We have been using the AC copper core for a little over 10 years, and it’s good stuff, but I have to agree with my wife, the Demeyere is nicer. I will end up surprising her with some Demeyere products here in the near future and start handing the AC copper core down to my daughter. Trust me.... you won’t be disappointed! Mike

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent cookware excellent pot. Whats not to like? This pan heats quickly, has excellent heat retention, boils and cooks evenly and clean up is a breeze thanks to it being rivotless. I suppose you should use this pot for sauces but I use it for grains, tempering chocolate, making caramel sauce and morning hot cereals. Just a joy to use and have in my kitchen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Trash I got this a year ago and after a few months the metal started coming apart causing bubbles in the metal and became discolored after a few uses. Ive owned many pots and pans, even cheap ones and have never had this happen. It claims to have a 35 year warranty, but the company refuses respond.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this saucier! There is nothing on the market better than Demeyere when it comes to stainless steel cookware. These pieces are amazing. The 7 layers of silver, copper and stainless steel in the Atlantis collection are unparalleled; it heats up so quickly, and retains that heat well. Also there are no rivets, making for a much easier cleaning. With this saucier style pan, it is perfect for making sauces, ganache. With the Silvinox finish, these stainless steel pans do a fantastic job cleaning after use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made for cooks who cook well. This is one of my favorite shapes. A saucier is invaluable if you make sauces and gravy, or if you make pastries. The conical shape is ideal for gentle reduction in moisture/volume and condensing flavors. Atlantis sauciers are awesome to work with because if you are like me, and can get distracted, it is so forgiving. I don't burn my pastry creams and caramels. I scald milk, instead of overflow it. Well worth the investment. Demeyere Atlantis. I love this stuff! It has all the best parts of high-end (copper) cookware and it’s easy to clean! In addition to being technically sound (it cooks well; heats evenly and is responsive to temperature changes), it has bonuses that help to justify the price. No rivets - no cleaning around those annoying little screw heads. Comfortable stay-cool handles – easy to grip and lift. Looks good – shiny exterior stays that way.

Purchased what I believe is the Demeyere Atlantis 3.5qt SS Saucier Item 25924-41524. Box calls it a Conic Saute Pan, REF 25924+41524. Are they the same item, and why is the lid too small? There's 1/4" gap when lid is pushed to one side.

Asked by: JustMyTwoCents
"Saucier" and "Conic Saute Pan" are different terms that we have used for this same item. As you can see, the item number (REF) is the same as well. The lids on our sauciers do not fit as securely, because we did not make lids specifically for these pans. We provide the closest-fit lids that were initially made for other products in the line. The reason for this is that the general uses for the saucier- to saute, sear, or fry- do not require a tight-fitting lid, or, in many cases, a lid at all.

Why don't you answer the two questions above so we can all make informed buying decisions?.    How about including dimensions in the description?

Asked by: Consumerista
The dimensions for this product are 9.4" (top diameter) X 7.1" (base diameter) X 3.6" (tall).

Is there any copper in this saucier? I see the core is aluminum, but am not familiar with the components of the TriplInduc base.

Asked by: rp17
No, this product does not contain any copper. Our Demeyere straight-sided cookware does contain copper in the base. You can see more information about our tech here: https://www.zwillingonline.com/demeyeretech.html
