Demeyere Alu Pro 28cm non-stick high frying pan. The cold forged aluminium construction with 5mm base provides fast and even heat distribution, avoiding hot spots to help prevent burning food. TriplInduc technology gives the pan a strong, stable base for excellent contact on induction, offering up to 30% more efficiency over other base types to help reduce energy use. The PTFE non-stick coating is durable, scratch-resistant and allows healthy non-stick frying with the use of little oil or fat. The lightweight, stainless steel handle is riveted to the body for strength. The Demeyere Alu Pro pan can be used at home or in professional kitchens and is perfect for searing meat and vegetables for great caramelised flavours.

Is this PFOA-free and PTFE-free?  If not, which of your fry pans are?

All of our cookware is PFOA-free, but this item and our other aluminum nonstick pans are not PTFE-free. If you are looking for cookware that is both PFOA- and PTFE-free, you would want to shop our stainless steel ceramic nonstick styles.

How do you deep fry or pan fry using this pan?

Fill the pan to an inch or two below the rim with your desired cooking oil. (We recommend an oil with a high smoke point, like vegetable or peanut oil, for frying.) Heat to medium/medium-high heat (350°-375° F). As cooking times vary, keep the item submerged for as long as your recipe requires.
