- 4 tomatoes
- 2 balls (125 g each) mozzarella cheese
- 30 g rocket
- Salt, pepper
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 2 stalks basil
Wash the tomatoes, drain, remove the trunks and slice the tomatoes. Drain the mozzarella and cut into slices. Wash the rocket, spin dry and pluck small if necessary.
Layer the tomato and mozzarella slices alternately like roof tiles in the ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE fridge box. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with oil and vinegar. Arrange the rocket and basil leaves on top, put the lid on and vacuum seal.
Leave the salad to chill about 1 hour and serve.
Serve with a crusty baguette or ciabatta.
The salad is even more aromatic with buffalo mozzarella.
