Our contribution to sustainability is the ZWILLING PRO - EARTH DAY SPECIAL EDITION 2024. There is at least a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions during steel production compared to conventional special smelting.

The handles are crafted from Kotibé wood, and each knife has a place in the matching knife block made of FSC-certified thermo beech. The result is our limited edition knife series for Earth Day.

THE NEW SPECIAL MELTING RC

For our Earth Day 2024 special edition and our new special melt RC, we rely on Outokumpu Circle Green®, a steel from Outokumpu in cooperation with Stahl Krebs, with a 50% reduced C02 footprint.

WOOD FROM SUSTAINABLE FORESTRY

Handles and block are made of FSC® certified wood. The handles are made from Kotibé wood with impressive durability in the well-known triple riveted design. The block made of local thermal beech achieves outstanding durability even without wood protection or chemicals.

UNCOMPROMISING IN QUALITY AND CUTTING PERFORMANCE

The curved bolster allows you to cut safely and precisely and the special shape intuitively guides you into the right grip position for easy and precise work. Milan-based designers Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez have created ZWILLING PRO knives for ambitious chefs with a passion for excellent design.

Significantly reduced emissions

Innovative, optimised steel production reduces CO₂ emissions in the manufacturing process as much as possible, e.g. by using low-emission energy, prioritising the use of recycled material (at least 90%) and avoiding cooling phases.
