Rated 5 out of 5 by from This block is designed specifically for Pro series knives that have a curved bolster. Due to the forged curve Pro knives don't sit straight in a typical block so this one is designed with clipped corners to accommodate the bolster. Like all Zwilling blocks this one is made from high quality wood with a nice finish that leaves it smooth to the touch. The profile of this block isn't huge but it's able to hold a lot of knives and has a spot for shears, a honing steel and steak knives too.

Stores all my Pro knives well thanks to the way the slots are slanted, perfect for the Zwilling Pro curved bolster. Since it’s built with solid rubberwood, it'll be durable for years to come.

The slots are angled so that the Pro knives fit perfectly - they have a curved bolster so really need a special kind of slot. The color is a nice light shade.

It was out of stock everywhere and we ended up deleting out knife block set off of out registry because we wanted this color... and then we added the individual knives and got this block to get the color we want!!
