Description

truly ultimateThe name says it all. There is no other bread knife like this in the market today. It is longer than the average bread knife making it suitable for anything that requires a serrated edge. Its great for bread, melons, hard squash and anything else with a harder outside and softer interior. The serration pattern allows for a very acute angle so it actually creates less crumbs when cutting even the crustiest of breads. The longer teeth come into contact with your cutting surface and the shorter ones do not keeping the blade sharper longer. The forged German steel blade is high quality and the curved bolster keeps your cuts straight and makes it very comfortable to use.

The Ultimate bread knife indeed!This truly is the ultimate bread knife! This is one of my go-to knives in the kitchen. The serration is so much better than any other serrated bread knife I’ve used. With the double serration, this bread knife does a beautiful job of cleanly slicing bread, fruit, meat without tearing or squishing. The curved bolster on this forged blade provides comfort and easy gripping on the knife to slice with ease. Since the high carbon stainless steel is forged and ice hardened, it makes this knife a long lasting sharp and durable blade you can always rely on using in your kitchen for years to come.

An ultimate melon knife!!!This ZWILLING Pro 10" Ultimate Bread Knife features scalloped serrations to ease cutting, minimize tearing and crumbs, and to maintain lasting sharpness.
The combination of the serration and blade length allows for maximum performance when handling large loaves. Raised handle for knuckle clearance and easier slicing.
This ultimate bread knife will cut and slice through a large bread, bagel, baguette and even a cake cutter it'll scoop it!! I've used this knife cutting oversized fruits, watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, name it. Its serration is an ultimate in sharpness and durability.

Have had several different bread knives over the years, and this is by far the best. Love the 10 inch length, plenty of surface to cut through huge loaves, as well as tort all types and sizes of cakes for finishing.
The scalloped edges, are far superior than the traditional serrations I've used in the past. No more ripping or tearing, the blade just glides through and the results are impressive. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best bread knife out there.

the ultimate bakers knife!I think this is the best bread knife I have every owned. The serration is unequaled at slicing bread and in my kitchen cakes, without any crumb. The 10 inch length can score and slice through a cake round, take on a large loaf of artisan bread or cut a finshed cake in one swoop.

WowTHIS IS A GREAT BREAD KNIFE!!! Finally broke down and bought myself this bread knife (got one with Palisander handle that I LOVE-these now hard to find) after giving to many for wedding gifts. Have many bread knives of different styles. This beats them all and just need to be careful as it is so big and sharp with great serrations, and has great balance and comfort and cuts through almost anything. It is wide and like it so much I just had to buy a new block (Zwilling Pro) that it would fit in. Also able to buy when on sale so SERIOUS value and quality.

This Pro bread knife is one of the great Pro tools you will need for your kitchen - especially if you buy un-sliced loaves or make bread! Great to have handy for slicing at the thickness every person wants. The curved bolster is better for finger support & comfort. All made with the Zwilling German ice-hardening process for sharper, more durable knives!
I have the knife and it was an "on Sale" item. My question is the blade is not the same on both sides and seems to cut more on an angle. I love the knife for my sourdough rye but it doesn't cut straight. Is the blade supposed to be the same on both sides?
