Magnetic easels are a beautiful and easy way to store your knives but the downside is they don't hold that many knives. You could get a magnetic bar or an in drawer knife holder but chances are you want to store your knives together...this add on block is the solution when using the matching upright easel. This fits snuggle behind the easel to store up to ten more knives and even a honing steel. This is a beautiful color and the finish is equally as beautiful.

Good block, poor packaging
Product is well made and heavy enough to be stable when adding/removing knives. The 4 start rating is due to small blemishes on two of the top corners due to poor packaging. At this price I expect a product to arrive in perfect condition.

A beautiful compliment to your magnetic easel, so you can efficiently display more of your favorite knives, and have them all at your fingertips! Fits into the back end of the easel, so you can display them together or separate. The design is sleek and modern, and the dark wood compliments most kitchens.

Great add on block
A great block to safely store your Kramer knives when not showing off your knives with the magnetic easel block. A great add on block for the magnetic easel block, or just to have a cool and unique block on your countertop. The wood grain is a nice toned wood and looks great with the Kramer knives.

Excellent way to either stretch your existing upright block with more knife storage or a place to keep the knives you don't use as often. This looks super cool with the handles coming out of the side of the easel block and makes for easy access to all of your knives.

Solid Storage
This wooden block can be used in conjunction with the Kramer upright easel to expand your cutlery collection from 10 to 20 pieces. Solid construction with knife slots in a horizontal orientation, it can also stand alone for storage of 10 knives and a honing steel.

Great addition to the Zwillig magnetic knife block
I love this addition because it fits snugly behind the magnetic block and holds plenty of knives. The slots on the majority of the slots are wide enough to hold 2 average width knives and the lower ones are tall enough to hold cleavers (which are thicker) easily.

The slots do not run through to the other side. The dimensions for both the Upright Block and the Upright Easel, designed to be used together, are 11'' H x 15'' W x 5'' D.

Are slots for knives accessible from both sides of the pyramid block? We need even side to be on the right side and beveled aspect on the left side (to be positioned alongside our fridge). The figured block has both aspects exactly opposite. Thanks. Petr

Absolutely. It is designed to fit behind the easel block, though it can certainly be used on its own.
