Perfect knife for peeling fruit, slicing herbs, mincing chili peppers. Great control for small cutting tasks.
The Gourmet line is a very good line of stamped knives. They are manufactured under tight controls and precise standards at Zwilling’s factory in Solingen, Germany. They have a full tang, running from the tip to the heel of the handle making these knives sturdy and stable. The comfortable handle is solid without being heavy.
Because the composition of the steel, these knives will stay sharp and responsive with every cut. Keep the blades honed, sharpen once or twice a year and you will enjoy them each time you use them. Dishwasher safe, but hand wash to keep it looking new.

Nice vegetable parerThis is such an amazing paring knife. The steel is really durable for a stamped knife since the high carbon stainless steel was ice hardened, helping give the knife a longer and sharper edge than most stamped blades. The handle really contours nicely in my hand as well. A great comparable knife if you like the look of the Zwilling Pro collection, but want a budget friendly price point. I like the smaller blade on this compared to the 4”, it’s a little easier to really get a close peel with a smaller 3” blade. This is a great alternative style paring knife.

great sharp utilityThis is the perfect peeling and trimming knife. The German steel and Spanish construction make a very strong sharp blade. The slim profile of the blade peels and trims easily without much waste. The three riveted handle is very comfortable for use in hand and on the cutting board.

Still a great German made knifeI purchased this knife to replace a Zwilling artis knife I got via the German supermarket, Kauftland, having a promotion with the knives. The side of the older knife’s handle broke. The knife was still serviceable (very sharp and never resharpened) but I took it as an opportunity to get a new Zwilling knife. Still cuts everything with ease. I have a bunch of other Zwilling Artis knives that are still sharp after 10 years of use and never being sharpened. Amazing knives and worth their price.

This is a great price for this super sharp vegetable knife. Stamped from a single sheet of steel this has a full tang running through to the end of the handle to provide a strong sturdy feel while cutting. This knife is good for cutting small vegetables and can also be used much like a paring knife. The handle is a good length so it doesn't feel too short in your palm.

This little guy is not only perfect for paring but works really well for decorative vegetable / fruit work. Gourmet knives are made from German Special Formula Steel, also forged from one piece of stamped steel so super durable. This knife is razor sharp and the the handle comfortable and lightweight, nice when doing detailed prep.
