Croissant French Toast Bake with Strawberries

INGREDIENTS
- Cooking spray
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup strawberry preserves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6–8 croissants, halved
- Powdered sugar, for serving
- Fresh strawberries, for serving
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and coat a Dutch oven or baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, strawberry preserves, and salt.
- Dip each croissant half in the egg mixture, then arrange them in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining egg mixture over the croissants.
- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, then let cool for 10 minutes to set.
- Serve with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries.
