Berry Bliss Smoothie
This refreshing and satisfying smoothie can be made year-round with frozen berries. If you’ve got fresh fruit on hand though, feel free to sub them in. And if you’d prefer a vegan alternative, the plain yogurt can be swapped out for soy, almond, or coconut yogurt. It’s the perfect on-the-go healthy breakfast or midday snack.

INGREDIENTS
Smoothie
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup frozen raspberries, plus a few more for garnish
- ¼ cup cane sugar
- Leaves from 1 sprig fresh basil or mint, plus 2 sprigs for garnish
- ¾ cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- Juice of ½ lemon
Optional Garnishes
- fresh raspberries
- 2 sprigs of mint
HOW TO MAKE IT
Place the berries, sugar, 1 sprig basil or mint, orange juice, yogurt, and lemon juice (in that order) into the blending beaker of the ZWILLING XTEND Hand Blender. Blend on High until thick and smooth, moving the blending arm up and down several times while you blend to achieve an even consistency. Pour into glasses and garnish with sprigs of mint or basil and extra raspberries. Serve immediately.
Tip
For a vegan option, replace the yogurt with a plant-based alternative such as soy or coconut yogurt.
