INGREDIENTS

Dough

  • 10 oz (300 g) wheat flour
  • 1 packet of active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup lukewarm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • wheat flour to work with

Topping

  • 4 oz (120 g) strained or chunky tomatoes
  • 1 heaping tsp pizza seasoning
  • Salt, pepper
  • 4 oz (120 g) grated cheese, e.g. pizza cheese
  • toppings (e.g. salami, ham, mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, peppers, etc.)

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Knead the flour, yeast, water, salt and olive oil into a smooth yeast dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour, until it has doubled in size.
  2. At the end of the rising time, knead the dough again on a lightly floured work surface, divide into four equal portions and roll out round or square patties, slightly smaller than the grid of the air fryer. Prick dough several times with a fork to make them rise evenly.
  3. For the topping, season the tomatoes with salt, pepper and pizza seasoning and spread on the pizzas. Sprinkle with grated cheese and top with the chopped ingredients as desired.
  4. Place the topped pizza on the grid in the ZWILLING air fryer. Bake in the "Pizza" program at 330°F for approx. 12-15 minutes, depending on the desired crispiness, and remove. Bake the remaining pizzas in the same way, but reduce the baking time by approx. 2-3 minutes, as the hot air fryer is already heated up.

Tip

If you are in a hurry, you can also use pizza dough from the supermarket.
